Our locations benefit from excellent accessibility by both road and water. All three sites offer spacious layouts and ample opportunities for future expansion.
Autrichehavenweg 15, 4554 MB Westdorpe
SFP Zeeland
Our biogas plant in Westdorpe converts organic residual streams from the agricultural sector into biogas through anaerobic digestion. The biogas is then purified and upgraded to biomethane (green gas).
The green gas is injected into the natural gas grid, where it is distributed to households and other end users as a sustainable alternative to fossil natural gas.

-
Bio-CO₂ production: 20,000 tonnes per year
-
Annual feedstock capacity: 600,000 tonnes
-

Lange Lijnbaan 53, 8861 NW Harlingen
SFP Friesland
Located in the industrial port of Harlingen, our biogas plant at Lange Lijnbaan converts plant-based organic residual streams from the agricultural and food processing industries into renewable energy.
Through anaerobic digestion, these residual streams are converted into biogas, which is then purified and upgraded to biomethane (green gas). The biomethane is injected into the natural gas grid, providing a sustainable alternative to fossil natural gas.

Construction started: 2024
-
First green gas production: 2026
-
Annual feedstock capacity: 300,000 tonnes of plant-based organic residual streams
-
Annual production: 20 million m³ of biomethane
-
Bio-CO₂ production: 20,000 tonnes per year
Oosterwierum 15, 9936 HJ Farmsum
SFP Groningen
Our biogas plant in Farmsum is technically identical to our facility in Friesland. This standardised design allows for efficient operations, knowledge sharing and the flexibility to deploy employees across both locations.
The plant converts plant-based organic residual streams and animal by-products into biogas through anaerobic digestion. The biogas is then purified and upgraded to biomethane (green gas), which is injected into the natural gas grid as a sustainable alternative to fossil natural gas.
